Hiking & Trails
Where we most love to walk.
Gauertal
The magical valley. Old maisäss huts, the Lindauer Hütte and a feeling like another era. Our absolute favourite spot in the Montafon.
Wiegensee
A high moor at 2,000 m — surreally beautiful, especially in autumn. The hike from Partenen is moderate and worth every minute.
Garneratal
Little frequented, all the more impressive for it. At the end a waterfall awaits that leaves you speechless. Perfect for e-bike + hike.
Silvretta Reservoir Circuit
The classic — and special every single time. Turquoise water, a 3,000 m panorama, a dam with history. Doable with kids too.

Where it really tastes good.
Bella Nova Hütte
The best Kaiserschmarren in the entire Montafon — no debate. Best enjoyed after a tour on the Versettla circuit.
Nova Stoba
Fine dining on the mountain. Surprisingly good, surprisingly creative. Our tip for a special evening (yes, the gondola runs in the evening too).
Café Muntafuner Stöbli
Breakfast in the village as it should be. Good coffee, homemade cakes, Montafon cosiness. Perfect for a relaxed start.
Alpe Vergalden
Authentic alpine fare — Sura Kees, butter fresh from the alp, and a panorama you won't forget. Reachable only on foot or by bike.

Ill riverside path in the evening
When the sun slips behind the mountains and the valley turns golden — the loveliest sunset stroll. Starts right in Gaschurn.
Mountain Beach Gaschurn
The open-air pool in Gaschurn with mountain views — swimming, sunbathing and cooling off after a hike. Our happy place in summer.
Gaschurn village centre
Authentic, not touristy. Simply stroll through the village, admire the old houses, pause by the church. Here the clocks tick differently.
Transfair shop
Local products, Montafon specialities, handmade crafts. The perfect place for authentic souvenirs.

Muntafuner Gaglaweg
The themed trail for kids — with stations for playing, climbing and exploring. Our children love it, yours will too.
Aktivpark Montafon
Climbing, bouldering, archery — all in one place. Perfect when the little ones (or the big ones) need some action.
Silvretta Park
Indoor playground for rainy days. Bouncy castles, slides, a trampoline park — and a café where the parents can relax.
Alpenbad Montafon
Outdoor and indoor pool in Vandans. Water slides, a children's pool, a lawn with mountain views. The classic for hot summer days.
Winter Specials
When the snow calls.
Freeriding Silvretta
Untracked slopes, powder to your heart's content. The Silvretta Montafon is a paradise for freeriders — and the Versettla north descent is our secret run.
Ski touring Gargellen
Quiet ascents, lonely summits, perfect descents. Gargellen is the ski-touring paradise of the Montafon — fewer people, more mountain.
Night tobogganing
When it gets dark, the fun really begins. A floodlit toboggan run, headtorch on, then full speed down to the valley. Legendary.
Winter hiking Kristbergbahn
Up with the Kristbergbahn, then a walk through snowy forests. Quiet, magical, like a winter fairy tale. Snowshoes welcome too.
