The Versettlabahn starts right in Gaschurn and takes you in just a few minutes into the Hochjoch ski area of the Silvretta Montafon at over 2,000 metres. From there, 140 km of pistes open up, linked to the Nova area in St. Gallenkirch. Add to that the Garfrescha with its sunny family slopes. In total, the Silvretta Montafon offers 297 km of pistes and 73 lifts — and the entrance is one kilometre from the Montafon Chalets.

From Gaschurn, cleared winter walking trails lead along the Ill, through snow-covered forests and up to viewpoints overlooking the Silvretta mountain range. Snowshoe walkers discover the Garneratal and the high terrain around the Versettla — away from the pistes, accompanied by the silence of the high mountains. Ideal for couples seeking peace and quiet — and enjoying the fireplace in their own chalet in the evening.

The cross-country trails in the rear Montafon run along the Ill through the snow-covered valley — flat, well groomed and with a view of the surrounding three-thousanders. Near Gaschurn there are floodlit night trails for cross-country skiers who want to extend the day. Toboggan runs in the area offer fun for the whole family — especially in the evening on the night toboggan run.
